The app follows motor learning principles and utilizes a word-based vocabulary that includes the most frequently used words in communication. It boasts an impressive collection of almost 11,000 Smarty Symbols® and allows users to access nearly 14,000 words with no more than two touches. By eliminating complex page navigation and scanning, Speak for Yourself ensures fast and consistent access to language.
One of the standout features of Speak for Yourself is its integration with CereProc's speech system, which gives the voices in the app character, emotion, and personality. In addition, users now have the option to include voice options from Acapela Text-To-Speech through in-app purchasing.
